The Tall Ships Festival takes place every two-years in Gloucester Quays. Eight or more tall ships will enter the G-S canal at Sharpness docks, and travel the 16-miles into Gloucester, passing my house on their way in and out. Tourist ships also pass the house on a regular basis, the King Arthur being the most spectaular.

There will be a raft of entertainment events taking place over the Tall Ships Festival weekend, including pirate canon battles between the tall ships, flyboarding, live music, children's events, and of course lots of craft and food stalls.
