>  Literally the best BnB we have ever experienced. Tony is a super warm and welcoming gentleman. His beautiful home is offered to guests with love and generosity. You can see how much effort, time and energy has gone into his house and garden. Tony is delightful company and most interesting. His home is blooming with flowers, fruit and veg in the garden. The bedrooms are lovely: so well equipped, clean and each bedroom has a great en suite bathroom. The view over the canal is the 'cherry on top'. Breakfast is wonderfully healthy, fresh, delicious and sustaining - home made by Tony. Every detail, even down to the type of tea pots and crockery are clear signs of a man who knows his stuff and knows what good quality looks, feels and tastes like. Even if you don't want or need to go to Gloucester, I suggest going to stay with Tony for the fun of it! Excellent value for money. Way more bang for your buck than any other place you could stay. We will be going back to stay with him. Thanks Tony - you're a legend. Rach and Claire (sisters)

>  Tony is the marvellous host. He is welcoming, warm, generous, charming, and very well travelled. His place has the most magical frontage on the canal where you can sit in peace and watch the beautiful sunset. The room was very comfortable and convenient. I highly recomment his place - a good blend of hospitality and comfort. Noha Nasser

We were greeted with tea and home-made cake on arrival, chauffeured to the wedding we were attending locally, and served a tasty, wholesome breakfast overlooking the canal the next morning. > We booked last minute for the night of New Year's Eve, and we couldn't have asked for anything better than to begin the New Year in the company of Tony. There should be a queue waiting to book the two rooms he is offering. His house is immaculate. From the moment we walked in and until we left, the experience was a great one. The location is incredible and the view of the canal is beautiful. We highly recommend this home, and of course, the host. Thank you Tony - George and Liz Bryant

> Earlier this month I stayed at Tony's BnB. What a good decision that was. A superbly kept house in a lovely setting. From my bedroom window I had a view of the canal and surrounding countryside, the canal boats and Tony explained some of the history behind the canal and its use. Tony is a fascinating chap to talk with. A professional Film Maker and Author, he has worked in some astonishing locations for some highly influential institutions. He grows all manner of fruit and vegetables and runs an immaculate and well organised house in which I was made to feel very much at home and enjoyed a good variety of offerings for breakfast.
